Earlier this week FITS reported exclusively on the latest boondoggle taxpayer-funded conference being held by S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley’s Department of Employment and Workforce (SCDEW) at some luxurious coastal location.
According to our sources, one of the speakers at the event was Haley’s hand-picked chairman of the S.C. Workforce Investment Board (SWIB) – a 31-member advisory panel that provides “direction to (SCDEW).”
His “direction” to the 200 or so assembled bureaucrats?
“He said ‘be careful and don’t post pictures of this conference on Facebook if you want to keep coming to places like this,'” one witness tells FITS.

Talk about more “transparency inaction,” people.
Three years ago candidate Haley would have mercilessly ripped a state agency for taking repeated trips like this to coastal resorts.
Today? Her anti-transparent administration has become the status quo it used to rail against.
