A bit ironic since this guy was put in as of November 10th, 2012, which is after all this had gone on, and after the 2012 election. Douglas Shulman, the guy who actually sat as the head honcho while all of this went down, was put in in March 2008. That resignation doesn’t make much sense unless the guy found out or already knew about the selective targeting and didn’t react. Even if that is the case, Shulman should really be shitting his pants.

What also makes little sense is condensing all of the responsibility of this crap into one office, which has apparently been the case for a decade now. The fewer hands that work on something, the easier it is for incompetence, bad following of policy, or outright corruption to pretty much work its way into the entire process and fuck up everything.

What would be better is to pass legislation to overturn Citizens United so that the IRS doesn’t have to piss away time and resources heavily scrutinizing nonprofits, and to also pass legislation so that the IRS can’t hide behind a cloak so much on things like this.

Stop making sense, Smirks. It doesn’t fit the narrative.

Don’t worry pals, Holder isn’t going anywhere. The Brownshirts need him to keep Justice blind to the illegal persecution of Republicans…

Smirks, this is always the way – pissing on the other guy. This makes potus think he his “fixing” the problem. But paraphrasing an old saying, “his piss does stink.”

A Jewish synagogue was being audited for the third year in a row. This year a new auditor was sent who was extremely annoying and nitpicking.

At the exit interview the auditor asked the Rabbi about the candles and
crackers used during the year. He wanted to know what the synagogue did with the leftover cracker crumbs and candle stubs. The Rabbi explained that they were sent to the suppliers and in return the synagogue received a new box of each.

The auditor then sarcastically asked about the snippets from the circumcisions performed during the year. The Rabbi explained, “Oh, we send them to the IRS and they send us a new prick.”
