Hey i got a great idea lets make old has been players TV comentators; after all they know the game right? Forget about all the recent grad of legitmate Journalism schools with actual degerees in this area…Can you tell i could give a flying shit about the NFL or the majority of PRO sports for that matter.

Being able to order cable TV channels a la carte? Oh shit, here comes another nail in cable’s/satellite’s coffin!

The NFL is entertainment, let it be “free market,” and for fucks sake, tax them like everyone else.

Gee, maybe it’s got something to do with the FCC.

The country’s fighting “wars” on multiple fronts, spending trillions more than it takes in, about to “regulate” around 18% of the economy via Obamacare….and Bozo the McCain Clown is legislating cable TV….

You go you megalomaniacal turd….sad thing is I’ll bet over 50% of the US voting age population is all excited over this shit.

Modern day bread and circuses my friends. Fiddling whilst Rome burns.

Agree with Smirks about taxing the NFL, and supremely disagree with your conclusion to be against a free-market bill that would end the stranglehold of cable and satellite companies from forcing “choices” down consumer throats. This bill would in fact open up the market and allow for companies to negotiate with networks to provide a la carte menus for what consumers want to watch. Right now, it is the government restricting choice.

It’s a stupid bill that’s trying to break up a massive pile of cash that these freeloading fucks have been rakin in for years.

Thomas Jefferson was spot on when he said:

My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.

Is this not a perfect case?

Unfortunately, Americans have yet to figure out that if they want change to occur they have to implement it from their pocketbooks. Money changes everything – Corporations are very good at keeping people disinterested and forcing sides which reduces the chance for a united front.
