It’s been a whirlwind couple of days since the election…thank you again for your part in bringing it about! A quick note to update you on the arrangements that are being made on the swearing-in front…
First, we are planning a pre swearing-in party for Monday night. The party will begin at 7:30PM at Molly Darcy’s, which is located at 235 East Bay Street in downtown Charleston. Just a chance for us to all get together and visit – and for me to say again how much I have appreciated your efforts – following Tuesday’s result.
Second, I know this a stretch, but I wanted to invite you attend the swearing-in this Wednesday in Washington, DC and visit our new office. Unlike a normal election with the transition between November and January, this special election wipes away the luxury of time…so everything here is very last minute!
We have tickets available to attend the swearing in ceremony in the Gallery of the House, which are being given out on a first come first serve basis. The time for the swearing-in is still being determined, but we expect it to be late morning or early afternoon. Please respond to this email to RSVP for more details, if you are interested in making the trip.
Again, I wouldn’t be here without you and I as a consequence I cannot thank you enough for all you have done.

Hope this isn’t truly an open invitation. The last time when he offered his cell phone number as an open invitation for discussion, the Dems rang him up nonstop. If Nancy Pelosi catches wind of this invitation, she might kindly offer to hold the Bible for his swearing in and stack the peanut gallery with her supporters. Nice bipartisan touch, that.

Wonder if he will be the least bit nostalgic for those days when Jenny and the boys were around him for the swearing in? Perhaps the boys will show but they might need assurances that the step monster doesn’t…. I guess in time they will adjust to his DC hostess.

Worth pointing out that Mark Sanford is the only ex-governor in the House.
He therefore has a stature, profile and a megaphone most congressman could dream of.
This will make him instantly a leader for the disaffected and those who want to oppose the traitors and the establishment in the GOP
Little wonder the bastards didn’t want him there!
Long live Ron Paul and his supporters who backed Mark Sanford all the way when the losers in the treasonous GOP wanted nothing to do with him.
