“Werth” Watching: Man Holding Baby Makes Amazing Catch

Our founding editor took a pass on Jayson Werth in his fantasy baseball draft last month. Apparently he was leery of the 33-year-old’s ability to bounce back after missing three months of last season with a broken wrist.

So far the Nationals’ outfielder has looked pretty good, though … yet another example of Sic Willie’s crappy drafting skills.

In fact Werth jacked his second homer of the young season this weekend in Cincinnati – although it wasn’t the blast itself “Werth” watching, it was the remarkable one-handed catch made by a Cincinnati fan (one who just happened to be holding a baby in his arms).

Wow …

We’ve seen a lot of things go terribly wrong when it comes to fans trying to catch home run balls (without infants in their arms), so it was nice to see something go right for a change.

Solid dad skills there, for sure.
