It’s official … a corrupt group of “Republican” and Democratic political leaders in Richland County, S.C. stole $1.2 billion from local taxpayers.
That’s right, stole … all to subsidized a bunch of non-core expenses.
Despite clear and compelling evidence of election fraud, the S.C. Supreme Court has denied a petition to throw out the results of the November 6, 2012 penny tax referendum (a.k.a. the “Richland County Robbery”).
Not surprisingly the ruling is being hailed by government bureaucrats and the liberal mainstream media – which has been shilling for the robbers from the beginning.
For those of you unfamiliar with this drama, the “robbery” was a rigged election in which voter turnout in predominantly white, anti-tax hike districts was deliberately suppressed by corrupt officials with close ties to the pro-tax hike movement. As a result of this orchestrated fraud – which included illegal shortages of operable voting machines – voters in anti-tax precincts were subjected to wait times of up to seven hours.
And thanks to this illegal voter suppression, the sales tax hike passed by a 52-48 percent margin.
During his second inaugural address, U.S. President Barack Obama proclaimed that no citizen should be “forced to wait for hours to exercise the right to vote.”
Meanwhile U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn said “going devote a pretty significant amount of his political resources to bear on this question.”
So … where are those resources in Richland County?
Oh right … these are white voters who got screwed. And we’re talking about a tax hike. Does anybody really expect Obama’s Justice Department to lift a finger in this case?
Of course not … especially now that the heist has been granted the seal of approval from the state’s highest court.
Also, it’s worth noting that the court – which is led by a former liberal activist – did not provide any rationale for its decision, it simply denied the protest.
“Poof,” people … that’s how $1.2 billion disappears.
So … who do we have to thank for the “robbery?” Other than disgraced (yet well-compensated former elections manager) Lillian McBride and her felonious family?
Well, we can thank S.C. Senate President John Courson (RINO-Richland), S.C. Senator Joel Lourie (D-Richland), S.C. Senator Darrell Jackson (D-Richland) and S.C. Senator John Scott (D-Richland), along with S.C. Reps. Jimmy Bales (D-Richland), Mia Butler (D-Richland), Leon Howard (D-Richland), Joe Neal (D-Richland), Todd Rutherford (D-Richland), James Smith (D-Richland) and Nathan Ballentine (R-Richland) – all of whom were present when the decision was made to hand over the reins of Richland County elections to McBride.
We can also thank former S.C. Reps. James Harrison (R-Richland) and Joan Brady (R-Richland) – who were also present at that meeting – and S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley, who signed the legislation.

Less than two years and Jean Fucking corrupt “troll” will be out of the Supreme Court.
…and straight to the bar!
I’ll drink to that!
Will she be sitting at the bar on a bar stool or in a car seat? Who knows!

Why do you only care about white voters? When you wrote this story you ignored the fact that the date shows that black and latino voters had to wait in line much longer then white voters.

Oh, like most Republicans you only care about issues that effect you.
You’re an idiot. I hope you get knocked off by someone driving drunk .. errr … Jean Toal, perhaps?
Nice typing; do you eat with the same hands? Your momma should wash those hands for you.

Will: I made this decision months ago and you just would not listen. When I decided that we would keep the election in place and I would give the Republicans Kirkman Finley and I would sell out Joe McCullough, the deal was cut. I permitted Liz Crum to get out before the decision was made – publicly – so to give some appearance of honesty, but there was never any. As you know, I own Bill Nettles and nothing will come out of this by the Feds. The other 4 justices? We’ve made our deals on future elections, support and more important cases, so they didn’t object. Have a good day. The Queen.
It was Reggie Lloyd and Robert Stewart who had the goods on Toal and let her slide. Stewart and Toal go way back. He is as scummy as she. Nettles keeps saying that he cannot “re-visit” what they investigated. The Wicker lady lawyer in the US Attorney’s office made damn sure nobody re-opened those files. It’s a pathetic mess up there. Clyburn has incredible influence up there. Way more than the senators who used to have some control. They might as well be the board of trustees at SCSU.
Whatever happened to Lloyd? We liked him up here at the State House.

Remind us: did you whine about the 2000 presidential “election?”
It is always interesting to me when people use an old “wrong” to justify a current one. It’s a fallacious argument, used also in the case of budgetary overspending a la Bush/Obama.
