I’m guesing Mark Sanford didn’t get his invite to CPAC…otherwise they woulod have let it play..and it would have fit perfectly…
Why wouldn’t Sanford get invited? Adultery never stopped Gingrich from staying in the good graces of the GOP.
By the time the “Contract with America” had been rammed through and Gingrich had begun to really focus on “the blue dress” and Slick Willie he was already universally reviled among mainstream conservatives and many Republicans. By the midterms, he was so reviled that he resigned.
He might be invited to stuff but it’s not because he’s in the good graces of anyone – it’s probably because he is a vindictive POS who thinks nothing of destroying anything or anyone he perceives to be an enemy.
