“S.C. Attorney General Alan Wilson’s campaign did not report several
contributions for Wilson’s 2011 inaugural gala, including a $3,500
donation from House Speaker Bobby Harrell, Wilson’s former campaign
chairman said today.” Post and Courier newspaper.
Mr. Wilson loves freebies. From the unreported “low cost leases” on his personal cars to his free athletic tickets to his publicly unreported PAC to his campaign contributions from entities that are actually currying favor (and maxed out) with his congressman father, Wilson has refined scummy financial behavior.

We wonder just how much impact this would have on Sic Willie’s website ..?? It is really refreshing to know that YOU would require Wil Folks to verify all the fine citizens who read and respond to his work ..BUT YOU….would not require all parties identify themselves that you give slush too or who the REAL donors of cash are to our state’s many PACs..!!
How about our highway BILLBOARD signs and the “anonymous” sponsor ships that pay for those..!!?
How about the “sponsors” paying for certain signage at college football and basketball and FRAT ..”games”…!?!

Guess Harrell has a lot in common with Jesse Jackson Jr.–using campaign funds for personal use. Will Harrell man up like Jackson and plead guilty? Makes you wonder if he charges taxpayers cost of mileage for flying his plane at campaign expense. Do you think he reported the rental income as taxable income? Maybe a DOR tax evasion investigation is needed-could take the heat off DOR for releasing everyone’s SS numbers.
