A top executive at FreedomWorks – which bills itself as a limited government grassroots advocacy organization – produced and starred in an unreleased spoof video featuring a sex scene between former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and a giant panda.
No … really.
According to the left-leaning website Mother Jones, the “brains” behind the video was FreedomWorks vice president Adam Brandon, who also starred in the clip. Reportedly the video features Brandon sleepwalking down a hallway – a la The Shining – where along the way he stumbles upon Clinton receiving oral sex from a panda.
“In what appears to be a dream or a nightmare, he wanders down a hallway and spots a giant panda on its knees with its head in the lap of a seated Hillary Clinton … apparently performing oral sex on the then-secretary of state,” Mother Jones alleges. “Two female interns at FreedomWorks were recruited to play the panda and Clinton. One intern wore a Hillary Clinton mask. The other wore a giant panda suit that FreedomWorks had used at protests to denounce progressives as panderers.”
Ummmm … okay.
According to the site, the video was produced for a 2012 conference in Dallas, Texas – but was (wisely) never shown. News of the video comes as FreedomWorks deals with allegations of sexual harassment – including reports that its leader Matt Kibbe issued orders that women be hired at the organization based on their appearance.
All of the information was provided to the liberal website by former FreedomWorks staffers.
FreedomWorks was founded in 1984 by former U.S. House Majority Leader Dick Armey, however the ex-lawmaker has since disassociated himself with the group. Armey has publicly stated he was “shocked” to learn of the video, which he said was “ugly and (in) bad taste.”
Hmmmm … we’d probably have to ask the panda about the “bad taste” part (or maybe Anthony Weiner’s wife).
Anyway … we don’t know much about FreedomWorks. They appear to be on the side of right in the ongoing fight to fix this country, however you never can tell with these Beltway organizations. And unlike some people we’re not especially offended by crude humor (from the right or from the left). No matter where FreedomWorks stands ideologically (or where people stand on the comedic value of Hillary Clinton receiving head from a panda), it’s still never good when insider squabbles blow up in the public eye.
