S.C. Rep. Mike Ryhal (R-Myrtle Beach) is being investigated by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) over alleged discrepancies in his tax filings, Grand Strand Daily reported this week.
Ryhal and his company, RAN Enterprises LLC, are reportedly being investigated as a result of complaints made by employees at Rotelli’s restaurant –
“The employees said their W-2’s for tax year 2012 show considerably less wages than they actually earned,” the paper reports. “The employees said they were fired by Ryhal after each refused, in December 2012, to sign an individual, back-dated statement saying they were sub-contractors of Rotelli’s for tax year 2012.”
Ryhal is a favorite of the Myrtle Beach Tea Party and a supporter of S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley.

Didn’t want to pay employment taxes huh? Too bad that trust fund liability has the most teeth of any tax law. They’ll nail anyone that touched a 941.
Dennis?
Or, like Trikki at Exotica, not paying withholding?

Hmmm, I’ve had dealings with mr. Ryhal in the past. If history holds true, this is the tip of the ice berg.
