U.S. Vice President Joe Biden is making no bones about it … he’s running for president (well, assuming U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton opts against seeking the Democratic nomination in 2016).

In fact what were subtle hints a few months ago are now unmistakeable signals.

For starters, Biden took the lead in a pair of high profile policy exchanges over the last few weeks. First, he led the negotiations during the “fiscal cliff” debate, delivering “victory” – a.k.a. a $620 billion tax hike – to U.S. President Barack Obama. More recently Biden led the Obama administration’s “War on Guns,” and is currently campaigning across the country in support of that effort.

Politically, Biden’s signals are even stronger. For example on inauguration night he paid a visit to the Iowa State Society ball, telling attendees “I am proud to be president of the United States.”

(He quickly corrected himself … but still).

Biden also invited the governor of another early-voting state – New Hampshire – to attend his private swearing-in ceremony.

All of these moves are designed to set Biden up as the Democratic heir apparent in the event Clinton decides not to seek the presidency in 2016 – which at the moment is the $64 trillion question in the next battle for the White House.

Who will help provide the answer? Obama.

On that front, it’s curious to note that the recent “renaissance of Biden” began immediately after Obama secured his reelection – a victory which was bolstered by the aggressive campaigning of former president Bill Clinton.

Of course no matter how hard Obama tries to elevated his veep’s stature, Biden is still … well, Biden. He’s also still 70 years old – with the next campaign several years away from beginning in earnest.

QE 1,2,3,4 did not work. FDR tried to mess with the recovery and only added more Socialist ideas and programs which made the recovery longer. The US will face a downgrade. It is only a matter of time and because of globalists everyone will feel it. FOOD, AMMO, FIREARMS will be the three staples of life soon.

The many trillions in U.S. debt is not a problem.

We need to raise income taxes to 45% or higher for 164 years.

I love working for my well deserved government benefits.

It would be a disasterous turn of events for Dems if he were to do so….

But having witnessed SC go to Newt during the the primary, seeing the re-election of Vick, etc. et al, I have new found faith that the voting mob is capable of electing anyone.

CBS – The hacker-activist group Anonymous says it hijacked the website of the U.S. Sentencing Commission to avenge the death of Aaron Swartz, an Internet activist who committed suicide.

The website of the commission, an independent agency of the judicial branch, was taken over early Saturday and replaced with a message warning that when Swartz killed himself two weeks ago “a line was crossed.”

The message read in part:

Citizens of the world,
Anonymous has observed for some time now the trajectory of justice in the United States with growing concern. We have marked the departure of this system from the noble ideals in which it was born and enshrined. We have seen the erosion of due process, the dilution of constitutional rights, the usurpation of the rightful authority of courts by the “discretion” or prosecutors. We have seen how the law is wielded less and less to uphold justice, and more and more to exercise control, authority and power in the interests of oppression or personal gain.”

Obama Urged to Resign Over Beyoncé Scandal

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report) — A rising chorus of congressional Republicans are calling on President Obama to acknowledge that the pop singer Beyoncé lip-synched during his inaugural festivities on Monday and resign from office, effective immediately.

“By lip-synching the national anthem, Beyoncé has cast a dark cloud over the President’s second term,” said Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky). “The only way President Obama can remove that cloud is by resigning from office at once.”

While many in the media have blamed Beyoncé for the lip-synching controversy, Mr. Paul said, “We must remember that this happened on President Obama’s watch.”

Mr. Paul said that the White House’s refusal to comment on the Beyoncé crisis “only serves the argument that this President has something to hide.”

“If Beyoncé lip-synched the national anthem, how do we know President Obama didn’t lip-sync his oath of office?” he said. “If that’s the case, he’s not legally President. But just to be on the safe side, he should resign anyway.”

Mr. Paul also blasted Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for her testimony on Benghazi before the Senate today: “Her tactic of answering each and every question we asked her didn’t fool anyone.”

Too early to say either way. The Democrats are much less likely to nominate the “heir apparent” than are the Republicans. Look for one of the Castro twins to be elected and then normalize relations with cousin Raul.

Look, this is inevitable. VP Biden will be our President before 2016. He will not run in 2016 opening the door for the Clintons.

Why I heard Obama was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury.

The Clinton’s will get even with him and are backed up by the CFR
