Uhm, Will, the expression is “go to the mat”, not “go to the mattress”. Oh yeah, the book thing – well never mind…
Yeah…..that’s for damn sure Colonel…..the book thing I mean….anyway, you didn’t actually expect fits to ever be able to git-her-done did you? Has anyone ever heard an explanation as to why Fits just shut up and stuck his head in the sand about Haley and his book…or did I just miss something?
You could try bugging the tip line until it ends up on one of those “Wire” posts.
If I had to take a stab, I’d say the publisher lost interest after the election and the deal went kaput, but that’s a complete guess.
And by election I mean Haley’s.

Will does have it right. “Go to the mattresses” is the correct expression. You could say “go to the mat” and people would understand, but the context in which he is using it is accurate.
An additional accurate expression is: “If you vote for Nikki Haley again, you’re a fucking moron.”
The Colonel needs to watch The Godfather.

Better yet, how about a satirical novel that includes lots of sex (nude scenes, of course), the temple, exotica,her family, jakie, mikie, and the list goes on and on.
It could be perfect for a film, but I’m thinking about who could be chosen as actors. One thought is that Fitsnews bloggers could be used to tell some of the stories. We could be shown telling some of the stories to the camera in flashbacks (but in shadow to hide our identities). The possibilities just go on and on.

Anyone that wants some form of accountability from their gov’t, be it Dem, Repub., or whatever- but dislikes Will and wants him gone is simply punching themselves in the face by cheering on the Luv Guv II and her minions.
I agree with that. This site allows us to see the dirty laundry and to put light on the cockroaches and is willing to take more chances than traditional media. So even if I sometimes think Will is immature and crass at times, I still appreciate this website and particularly enjoy the comments, where the real scoop is often found.

About the only thing I can think of that she could try to do is force a sales tax issue on them…and if it was uncovered that she tried to do that over “FITSnews” the shitstorm it would bring would definitely hurt her chances for re-election at the least…I can’t believe she’d be that stupid-but then again it’s alway dangerous to assume how stupid people can be…so there’s that I suppose.
If the Governor is willing to use what is at her disposal, and is not squeamish…she will succeed.
