The NRA needs to be brought down, just like Big Tobacco was.

Our children are at risk. The children must come first.

When will the violence end, Will Folkes??

Guns kill people.

“…Guns kill people…”
What an astute grasp of the obvious, that “privat skool” you went to really made you into a world class intellect!

Guns kill people indeed, but so do planes, trains, automobiles, boats, alcohol, tobacco, radiation, knives, snow skis, family picnics, my fists, your face and a myriad of other things.

More people died from being bludgeoned with a hammer last year than killed with big scary assault style rifles. What happens when we ban guns and all of a sudden toolbox murders becomes all the rage? Will be ban carpenters utensils?

Sic,

That piece of Tupperware in the picture will be outlawed under the Tsar’s new plan – my 1911 will still be legal and still in a pancake holster on my right hip. I don’t worry about running out of ammo as I always carry an extra mag or two and generally hit what I shoot at…

Glock knives ain’t nothing to write home about either.

Pieces of “Tupperware” will still be on the hips and in the homes of real patriots, whether they are outlawed or not. This shouldn’t be about which piece of hardware is best, this should be about a united front against those who would enslave us, if and when that time comes.

Is FITS still Claimming there is NO difference between Romney and Obama?

I doubt Romney would try to Exploit the murder of children, to flex his power among leftwing radicals, who hate America….but Obama is…

A GOP presidnt would move to EXECUTE murderers, like Ft. Hood, so that Leftwing nutjobs would not think it’s heroic to kill masses of people…

Remember: Jared Laughtner was a fan of the Communist Manifesto, a liberal staple…

They have that “HOT” warning because of that very woman. She sued, and was initially awarded nearly $3 million. After that, most lids for obviously hot products began carrying the even more obvious “HOT” label.

Please tell me where in the legislation it says we lose our handguns and hunting rifles. Losing our ability to purchase assault style weapons, armor piercing ammo and more than 10 round clips is not limiting our rights any more than not being able to yell fire in a crowded theater. And don’t tell me that this is the slippery slope. Our forefathers (hell, our grandfathers) couldn’t grasp the kind of firepower that would be available to the average and subaverage (we do live is SC) citizens. It is harder to purchase sudafed than it is to purchase a military weapon. These are common sense things that hinder (it will never stop) the wrong people from getting the wrong instruments while at the same time providing for more police officers in schools and more mental health help.

This legislation does not say we lose our handguns. It says our magazines for them will be limited to 10 rounds. Better be a great shot if 2 or more bad guys break into your house.

Slope is not “slippery”. Slope is downhill all the way (look at history of other countries and ours).

Our forefathers indeed did not have such firepower. Criminals then did not either. They do now.

Last I checked, what is loosly termed “Assault Rifle” by folks that do not know the difference are not and would not be used by the military. The military versions are select fire (fully automatic or semi-automatic). Civilian version is semi-automatic only.

More police officers means what exactly when thugs are kicking your door down at home? More guys/gals to get there after it is over?

What if ten or more bad guys break into your house? You probably should get yourself a few bombs and a cannon, just in case.

I get that you don’t understand firearms and the concept of personal protection, but that’s just plain stupid. Nobody would light off a cannon or detonate a bomb in their own home to stop a home invasion. It’s like you are intentionally using hyperbole to detract from a valid point.

Uhh, military weapons are select fire, not the semi automatic guns available to law abiding citizens. And to be perfectly honest, I feel it should be legal to purchase rifles with 3-round bursts. Of course, I realize I’m addressing a fear-mongering liberal, so I might as well talk to a brick wall. A fucktard of a brick wall…

Nah, I have a shotgun for that…

But, speaking of bombs, many more mass murders world wide are committed via bomb than gun. Probably time for a 10 bomb per terrorist limit.
