COLUMBIA, S.C. – January 4, 2013 – Time Warner Cable, a provider of cable television and Internet services, today announced plans to expand its operations in Lexington County. The $24 million investment is expected to generate 644 new jobs over the next year.
“Even in a recovering economy, Time Warner Cable continues to grow and is pleased to offer valuable, good paying jobs in Columbia,” said Carol Hevey, executive vice president, Time Warner Cable East. “The addition of 644 jobs, which increases our South Carolina workforce by more than 50 percent, emphasizes our strong commitment to South Carolina.”

“We are excited to start the year off with today’s job-creating announcement by Time Warner Cable. We celebrate the company’s decision to expand with a $24 million investment and 644 new jobs in West Columbia. ‘We are adding sales people to our employment rolls because obviously the ones we have can’t keep our disgruntled customers satisfied. We will be able to tell you, the customer, that you are wrong and we will be able to do it for longer periods of time. As for you deadbeats that want to sell your wifi service to your neighbor, we will now have sufficient people on hand to track you down and have you arrested for that $5.00 per month your making off of your wifi connection.’
Have a Great Day!! :) There won’t be many left with the Demlicans and Republicrats in charge.

I went to Time/Warner website and checked for these jobs – only 14 jobs listed in all of SC. Jobs are suppose to be there – job fair on Tuesday. Sister in law works for Time/Warner – they just closed an office and shipped those jobs off to Charlotte – why would they do that if they are going to turn around and hire this many people???
Fuck TWC! Give me AT&T!
Fuck TWC. Their service sucks.
Take Comporium anyway. TWC sucks.
