… AND WITH GOOD REASON
We make it a point never to argue with Mothers we’d Like to Fahrvergnügen when they are correct … which is why we’re showing some rare love this week to Tea Party personality (note we didn’t say “leader”) Sarah Palin.
The “Naughty Monkey” – whose aversion to substantive policy is legendary – stumbles into good politics from time to time believe it or not. For example, Palin is absolutely correct to criticize “Republican” leaders of the U.S. House of Representatives – who are currently purging fiscal conservatives from positions of influence within the party.
“We send good conservatives to D.C. to fulfill the promises they made to the electorate, and yet when they stay true to their word the permanent political class in their own party punishes them,” Palin told Breitbart. “This won’t be forgotten come 2014.”
Good for Palin. The GOP leadership deserves to be bashed for attacking its few fiscal conservative members – although Palin obviously can’t say that she hasn’t also endorsed RINOs when it suited her purposes.
Still … she got this one right, and in the process stumbled upon a larger theme: The tone deafness of the national GOP as it relates to its ongoing electability problem. At a time when “Republicans” need to be elevating the influence and stature of the few GOP elected officials who actually practice what the party preaches, U.S. Speaker John Boehner and “Majority” Leader Eric Cantor are instead doing everything they can to drown out these voices.
Why? Because the new “Republican” party wants to tax and spend almost as much as Barack Obama and the Democrats …

Most of those purged happened to be endorsed or agreed with Ron Paul.
It’s what the GOP wants.
I say let it happen. They are simply speeding up the paradigm change which will probably be better in the long run anyway. Akin to slitting their wrists while taking a warm bath. It probably feels good at first in a weird way.
I suppose you are a good Republican.. If so watch what happens. I am not a Republican but I vote Republican National or Statewide. No more. It is time for America to wake up to the thugs and dictators in DC.
wtf? Do I not post enough here to clearly show I’m not a Republican?
lol…why the hell do so many of you insult me be calling me that? That is about the most hurtful thing you can say to me.
Maybe I deserve it.
Since ? quacks like a duck, and waddles the same, he certainly smells like a Repugnant. Res ipsa loquitur
We send good conservatives to D.C.
You’d have to be as dumb as Palin to believe that one.
Never misunderestimate (thanks, dubya) SC’s propensity to produce that much dumbness.
She is the proverbial MILF, but you have to be crazy to listen to her.
LOL
You can’t fix stupid. And as such, she’s the inappropriate grinning face of the Repugnant Party. As a non-Repugnant, I welcome and love it.
Dynomite!
Another good looking broad! I’ll re-write part of my current adventure to include her as my new villianess. She might make it as a recurring character.
Palin’s right for once. Boehner showed his true colors with his proposed tax increase. Just pass a complete repeal of the Obama tax increase and let the Senate and President do whatever they wish. There is no need for negotiations at all. I actually thought this party had been reformed enough that I trusted them to keep Romney on the right path. It doesn’t look like it anymore. We need to finish the job in 2014 and failing that, every real conservative or libertarian needs to vote for the Libertarian or Constitution candidate next time and send the RINOs a message once and for all.
Keep on the righteous path, Brad. With dumbarses like you running the Repugnants, this will truly be a Democratic century run by the short brown people y’all find so distasteful.
Adios, mi pasivo….
Did you interview Sarah Palin ?
Digging up the dead. While you’re at it could you get some recent quotes from Dan Quayle and Bob Dornan.
Relevance!
She sure helped out South Carolina with her endorsement (paid for I understand) of Nikki Haley. Well, at least she helped Georgia.
Will,
I believe Mark Twain said that the editorial “we” should only be used by people with tapeworms…
Now, I’m cool with you using “we” in support of smaller government, Ron Paul, libertarianism, sexdrugsandrockandroll etc.
I have to draw the line at Sarah Palin’s alleged MILFitude, however.
And at Sakerlina football.
“We” who, paleface?
Frankly, my family does NOT care anymore about the GOP or the Failed President. It is the American leeches which have screwed this country up with their desires for free shit. MOST are Obama voters are in the minority, and are the scum of the earth and living in the reservation cities, like Phila., Detroit and L.A.. Let all the liberal progressives have what they want and destroy the American economic system faster, along with the family structure. When the dollar collapses the FREE shit will be over and we can elect some real people who care about America and not the asses we have in both parties. They are not fixing anything, they are simply delaying the collapse.
“we can elect some real people who care about America”
The problem as you highlighted earlier is the election itself…the sheeple vote their perceived self interests, even if in the big picture it isn’t in their self interests long term.
Of course, you have the currently predominant Keynesian view of “fuck the future” economics in most of the electorate…so it makes sense- but I have to remind you that it was the electorate that got DC where it is now so thinking a collapse will allow for a “better electorate” is fool hardy.
I don’t think a “benevolent dictator” is the solution either(at times)…I’m not really sure what is as the Constitution is a failed document(unlike the Confederation that was simply displaced).
“When” the “collapse”comes, that is the signal for the UN to come in on the black helicopters and white armored vehicles, round up all the TEA partiers and like-minded types who fly “Don’t Tred on Me” and Confederate flags on their property and car decals and place them into “reeducation” camps. Then the remainder of the population can elect the people who will truly change the world.
BTW, where are those concentration camps located??
I’ve drove all over South Carolina trying to find one with no success – same for Google satellite imagery.
I need to locate one so I can apply for a security guard job!!!!!
All the other bullshit aside Sparkle, are you saying that you don’t think there will be a financial collapse(or reckoning) in our future?
Sarah Palin WAS on my MILF list at one time but her legs are 3rd rate plus she’s so played.
Now days, its Shannon Tweed in 1st place.
Hold it. You saw Sarah Palin’s legs?
Palin and Haley are the two of the biggest frauds and grifters in politics today. It’s all about making the dollars.
Hell, Palin couldn’t even finish her term as chief bilker of Federal dollars in Alaska without running off with her brood of trash to feed off the Republican media circus.
Haley will stick it out, but she’ll do the same eventually.
I suspect that ? is Slick Billies’ conspiracy theorist sock puppet.
lol…cool….so I can count you in for the opinion that we’ll have no “major” financial issues with the nation down the road, right?
Considering that “major financial issues down the road” are always inevitable, no. We had one in 2007.
I just don’t think they’re imminent or that they will led to some apocalyptic hellscape.
Fair enough, so you’re on the record for it.
By the way, I’ve never specifically claimed that any such event would lead to “apocalyptic hellscape”. I don’t really know what it will lead to…I’m not saying it couldn’t though…I’m just saying “who knows”.
Nor have I claimed anything about detention camps or any other stuff. I think you guys are mischaracterizing me or lumping me in with the Alex Jones crowd.
I just happen to feel differently from you in that I do think there will be a financial collapse. How it will manifest itself, and what may come about…who knows.
“Collapses” happen every day, that’s why there are bankruptcy courts…most people move on and start over. Some never recover.
Of course, if they would have taken care of their finances properly most wouldn’t have been there in the first place.
We’ve had financial collapses in the past. We just one in 2007.
We’ll have them in the future.
Not going to applaud your clairvoyance on this one.
Didn’t ask you to. I happen to think the event will be larger the next time around, as the monetary unit is already in question.
It just seems to me like lumping people who think our financial situation will eventually suffer dramatically in with those crowing about the Mayan end of the world is disengenuous at the least…maybe in an effort to delegitimize what are legitimate concerns about our collective fiscal well being.
Since you anticipate such an event again yourself it would seem the disagreement between us would be the severity.
Oh, the business about you being a conspiracy crank isn’t a hackneyed tactic to delegitimization your opinions. After all, who would care one way or the other?
We call you a crank because you say that the US Government aided Timothy McVeigh in the bombing of the FBI building and you’re a 9/11 truther.
That speaks for itself.
I’m a 9/11 truther? LMAO! Show me where I’ve said that.
Even further, I’ve never said that McVeigh was aided by the gov’t, I posted a couple of links of people claiming a cover up on what the gov’t knew when and missing video evidence.
lol…and you deride me as a “crank”…that’s pretty rich.
Gorgeous Governor Sarah Palin is so chic, charming, courageous, classy, & charismatic, with the Cross of our Savior nestled against her fair, fragrant bosom, and with her dulcet, delightful voice sweetly sounding like a swift mountain spring rippling across sparkling, shiny stones in a flower-dappled meadow. Our Lady Sarah has more intelligence in her little pinkie than the entire population of the earth. She could take on Biden, Obama, Romney, Ryan, Murkowski, Putin, the Taliban, Africa and North Korea and any of em and ALL of em any day with one hand tied behind her back and put them in their place with her christ-like demeanor, wisdom and leadership skills. God speaks to us through Our Lady Saint Sarah. Like the wise men who followed the star to baby jeebus manger we will follow Sarah Palin as she is the universe’ north star and the only hope of the world until jeebus second coming.
damn what a let down. I scrolled all the way up the page to see her bosom, and you can’t even see it! Plus, there’s no crucifix of our Savior!
And I think you’d need an apostrophe after your last reference to Jeebus.
You’ve claimed more than that. Give me a break.
Didn’t you say that there was evidence that the gov’t actually handed explosives to McVeigh. I’m certain you did. I followed it up with a comment about the moon landing. So drop the bullshit. You’re a crank.
And if you’re positing links, no doubt from credible sources *cough* that there was a cover up and missing video evidence, what are you suggesting? A cover up of incompetence of complicity? One is possible, but highly unlikely, while the other says you’re an unmitigated nut.
See my response below, but allow me a clarification:
“I’ve never said that McVeigh was aided by the gov’t”
Let me change that to “purposely aided by the gov’t”.
Ah, ?, ask a patronizing dumbass and you shall receive:
By ? September 14, 2012 at 9:59 am
You’re right about McVeigh Joe.
Even worse, there’s quite a bit of evidence that the gov’t allowed OKC to happen….
There’s no gov’t denial that gov’t agents provided the detonation devices to McVeigh. It’s an established fact.
The question is whether they intended to allow him to carry OKC out or if was simply incompetence that allowed him to do so.
Enjoy, loon.
I was out to lunch.
So let me, as a “loon” respond you, Mr. Jackass:
“A cover up of incompetence of complicity?”
Exactly, that was exactly what I was suggesting.
How many times have you read in the news that some half-crazy schlep was “foiled” by the valiant FBI, CIA,etc. et al for some crazed bomb plot?
It happens ALL THE TIME. How does it go down? The Feds pretend they are crazy militia guys that give the crazy bastard/”terrorist” encouragement, and MOST of the time fake bombs or stupid shit like that until they are sure they are going to blow up a bridge in Cleveland, Brooklyn(sound familiar?) or something dumb like that and then “bust” him and announce to the world they foiled another “terrorist”.
My point being that there’s credible evidence they were doing the same shit with McVeigh and let it go too far via INCOMPETENCE. If you “guessed” the other way, that’s fine..but it wasn’t my intent.
Now, if you want to really get all “loony” let’s look at some other shit that is “established fact” that gov’t has done to our citizens and others:
1. MK Ultra(real Alex Jones shit): No denial it happened, in fact, the CIA just got slapped with a lawsuit by the family of a victim that was injected(unknowingly) with LSD by the CIA and then killed himself: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MK_Ultra
2. Our gov’t Syphilis experiments on Guatemalan people: Again, no denial. It is what it is: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guatemala_syphilis_experiment
So in the context of “crazy”, if you for some reason differed from my opinion that they weren’t “incompetent” but simply of mal intent for some obscure political reason I really couldn’t call you a “loon”. I’d just be gracious and tell you that we disagree.
You being a jackass however, it’s obvious that being gracious about things is more difficult.
Crickets.
Why the fuck can’t people stop talking about Palin, Lohan, Snooki and the Kardashians? All of them together couldn’t finish a comic book. Goddamnit!
Don’t feel lonely. 49% of Republicans think ACORN stole the election for Obama in 2012. It hasn’t existed since 2010, but hey.
Also polling shows that half of Americans believe in alien abductions, 80% think the government is hiding information on aliens and 64% believe that aliens have contacted humans.
Another 17% think Obama is a secret Muslim.
My favorite, 6% think the moon landing was faked.
Thinking OKC was an inside job and your suspicion that Obama Administration is funding the Muslim Brotherhood – you’re in good company.
What are your thoughts on alien abductions?
“you’re a 9/11 truther.”
Speaking of crickets, go ahead and show me where I’ve said that.
See, you’re pretty crafty-you use half truths in some areas and then extend them to ridiculousness in others to paint people as fools.
Pretty smart dude.
“I just don’t think they’re imminent or that they will led to some apocalyptic hellscape”
While you’re at it you can tell where I’ve said that too since you suggested it.
You remind me of 9″/Balsak/Shlomo…kind of twisted but smart.
“Even worse, there’s quite a bit of evidence that the gov’t allowed OKC to happen…”
“There’s no gov’t denial that gov’t agents provided the detonation devices to McVeigh. It’s an established fact.
The question is whether they intended to allow him to carry OKC out or if was simply incompetence that allowed him to do so.”
Hilarious. There is “credible evidence” now. In September it was established fact. And you certainly left the door open that it was not incompetence, but in fact an inside job. Agreed, I might have been rude, but it doesn’t change the fact that your conveniently shifting your position to not appear like a conspiracy theorist. You undoubtedly are. Furthermore, your opinions on US funding of the Muslim Brotherhood are equally ludicrous. Sorry, I’m not the only person on this board that sees the streak running through many of your posts.
You can reach back to before the Church Commission when the CIA acted recklessly, but that in no way supports your theories. If I had time, I’d ask for those “sources” about OKC for a good laugh. As it is, I don’t.
Sorry for being rude, but you can’t be patronizing and expect me to be gracious.
“Agreed, I might have been rude, but it doesn’t change the fact that your conveniently shifting your position to not appear like a conspiracy theorist. You undoubtedly are.”
The simple fact is I’m not a conspiracy theorist, I’m interested in conspiracy “facts”. Just because thinking conspiracy’s exist has connotations of “crazy” attached to it doesn’t dissuade me.
“Furthermore, your opinions on US funding of the Muslim Brotherhood are equally ludicrous.”
Dude, this is ongoing question..you probably like the ACLU:
aclj.org/middle-east-turmoil/does-us-funding-consolidate-muslim-brotherhood-control-egypt
Give it rest…I don’t mind you disagreeing but let’s not be disagreeable when doing so with each other. The “patronizing” is in your own mind/interpetation.
Here’s another post of yours –

Speaking of kooks, what makes you think there’s not enough gold?
lol, even better-what did we ever use silver for?
No, not patronizing at all.
Climb off the cross, bud.
Fair enough, but that’s then…not now.
I’ll try to tone it down though, you make a good point and I can understand what you’re saying.
Sorry, I have to labor this just a bit longer—
Again, for the third time, please reconcile this previous post with your attempt to walk it back.
“Even worse, there’s quite a bit of evidence that the gov’t allowed OKC to happen…”
Allowed doesn’t suggest incompetence. The word “allowed” is loaded.
“There’s no gov’t denial that gov’t agents provided the detonation devices to McVeigh. It’s an established fact.”
Who established this fact? The innerwebs are full of people saying he was CIA agent or Iraqi agent. Seems like a narcissistic with such a hatred for Fed Gov’t like McVeigh might have weighed in all this. Again, what who established this fact? The courts?
“The question is whether they intended to allow him to carry OKC out or if was simply incompetence that allowed him to do so.”
Again, this is clearly you leaving open the possibility – your second mention of “allowing” – that it was an inside job. This goes far beyond the incompetence theory into Black Helicopter stuff.
There’s no walking this back. Sorry. This is why many of us see you as a conspiracy theorist.
I’m not trying to walk back, I know it took you some time to write/post that, but my response above addresses it for the most part.
I’d only once again reiterate I’m interested in conspiracy “facts” not theories, my links I posted by the way is the place of “non denial” from the FBI in terms of providing blasting caps to tertiary groups involved with McVeigh:
washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A13579-2004Feb27_2.html
(AP archive)
archive.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2004/2/25/225131.shtml
It ended dead on FOIA attempts when more information was requested on the supply of blasting caps supplied to the racists and they cited “national security” as the reason from recollection.
If you don’t think that constitutes “non denial” so be it.
I guess if you want me to I’ll scour for the original AP document that stirred the shit pot.
?
Okay, I read the Washington Post article and it at no point says anything remotely, on this planet close, to what you’re suggesting. It actually says that he stole the caps from a quarry, nothing about explosive devices provided by the FBI. It was about the possibility of additional accomplices, nothing else. Even his lawyer doesn’t make that suggestion.
So how does prove anything?
Similarly, the newsmax article – and I was very hesitant to read anything from that ridiculous bunch of cranks and toilers – is an exact rehash of the WP article. Nothing about the FBI handing off explosives. Not a word a word about a failure of the FBI. Nothing.
So, forgive me, but what are you talking about?
“FBI agents destroyed evidence and failed to share other information that raised the possibility that a gang of white supremacist bank robbers may have assisted Timothy McVeigh during the Oklahoma City bombing, according to documents never introduced at McVeigh’s trial.
Both the FBI supervisor who ran the Oklahoma City investigation and the veteran agent who was in command at the bombing scene say the new evidence, detailed in documents obtained by The Associated Press, is serious enough to warrant reopening the inquiry nine years later.
The evidence, never shared with Oklahoma City investigators or defense lawyers, includes documents showing the Aryan Republican Army bank robbers possessed explosive blasting caps similar to those McVeigh stole and a driver’s license possibly stolen during the bombing plot.”
From the “newsmax” you reference, which is actually a newsmax archived AP story.
The charge is that the blasting caps were supplied by the FBI to the Aryan group that was traveling in the same circles under the same intent as the recent “Fast and Furious” operation and they were hoping to bust people with bad intent and recover the caps.(and McVeigh not only got them, but obviously used them)
Crazy! Do you follow now?
So in that context here’s another cut & paste from the other linked AP article:
“Agents who worked both the McVeigh bombing and the bank robbery spree – two of the FBI’s highest priority cases of the 1990s – said they suspected a link between the two because of physical evidence as well as statements made by the robbers and a girlfriend.
The agents said they ruled out a connection when the bank robbers denied their involvement and provided an alibi showing they left Oklahoma three days before McVeigh’s bomb detonated outside the Alfred P. Murrah federal building on April 19, 1995.
That alibi, however, was contradicted by information Langan offered prosecutors and by car sales records that showed the bank robbers were still in the Oklahoma area after they claimed to have left, FBI documents show.
McVeigh in 1994 stole from a quarry hundreds of construction blasting caps, some which he used to explode the Oklahoma City bomb. The FBI spent months unsuccessfully trying to locate many of the other stolen caps.”
With that understanding you should go back and re-read both articles and draw your own conclusions about a “conspiracy” to cover it up their incompetence.
Even further though, ignoring the tendency to brand everyone believing in conspiracy “crazy”, you can even look to our recent local 1% penny tax election and see elements of “conspiracy” involved, the question is where specifically and why. (in other words, isn’t a conspiracy to simply not talk about how many machines per capita were availabe to the voting public?)
“Conspiracy” as a buzz word though negative in connotation should never be “ignored” or written off as crazy. It should be explored.
A conspiracy is nothing more than planned action between 2 or more people.
Although I’m a little disappointed with the 2012 election of uber-conservative,Barack Obama,I look forward to the demise of,’The Tea Party’,’Libertarians’ and Sarah Palin…
