Republicans Blast Susan Rice for Misleading Public: “That’s Our Job”
WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report) — A trio of Republican senators today blasted U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice for misleading the American public, which, in the words of Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-SC), “has traditionally been our job.” “Ambassador Rice has been engaged in nonstop lies and double-talk,” said Sen. Graham, one of three Republican senators who had a closed-door meeting with Rice. “If she really wants to do those things so badly, she should run for the U.S. Senate like the rest of us.”
Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) agreed with Sen. Graham’s assessment, saying of the meeting, “I heard Susan Rice spew nothing but half-truths, distortions, and complete fabrications. It felt like I was watching Fox News, except that she’s black.”
The third senator, John McCain (R-AZ), said that he found Ambassador Rice’s story profoundly disappointing: “Considering that the C.I.A. was involved, I thought there’d be more sex.”
I respect COMPLETELY FITS’ ability to have access to insider information. I also know that this woman has no clue as to how to run this state.
Business incentives are a given, I understand that, right or wrong. Without them, we would not have Amazon.com, nor would a certain prominant business in West Columbia that was “paid” to move from Richland County to Lexington County with those incentives. So it’s not just national businesses getting these tax benefits, it’s local ones as well.
I can’t stand the woman as much as the next person, but the obsession Mr. FITS has with her is bordering on “I got mines, she won’t admit it, so I’ll get her ass one way or another.” That mantra is getting old. It makes you look like a scorned woman. Gimme a break. GIVE US SOME REAL DEAL! BUST HER ASS with some court room-presentable proof, or get off your high friggin’ horse. Hey – Will – do you have the balls to take her to court? No? WHY NOT?????? You’d have half the state behind you if you did, including me. Put up or shut up. The real deal would be “the book.” We’ve been teased with “the book” (two or three paragraphs), but that was a year ago. “The book” would clear the air for everybody and supposedly would accurately portray Mrs. Haley as a husband-cheating runaround. That wouldn’t be important except for the fact that she’s our governor.
I think “the book” is shelved. But “the fog of the book” continues. “The book” should never been mentioned because many of us feel cheated. Sort of like we learned about Bill Clinton’s escapades and got it behind us once the Lewinski deposition was published.

e) Once these, and other pertinent issues, are resolved readers will be thrilled with this future blockbuster.
