LINDSEY LOHAN’S LATEST MOVIE PANNED
In news that came as a complete and total shock to everyone in Hollywood, Lindsey Lohan’s latest made-for-television movie is being panned by the critics. Mercilessly, even.
Lohan – who beat out Megan Fox for the right to play Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime’s biopic Liz & Dick – has run into a buzz saw of negative reaction to her portrayal of the Tinseltown icon.
“No effort seems to have gone into Lohan’s preparation other than to have her eyes tinted Liz-violet,” writes Ken Tucker of Entertainment Weekly.
“No one expected her to be anything but awful. And we were not disappointed,” writes Rob Salem for The Star. “Liz & Dick was ostensibly Lohan’s comeback vehicle. And again, like every other vehicle she’s ever driven, she manages to total it. But this will not be the last we hear of her, not by a long shot. Not if the paparazzi have anything to say about it.”
That’s true … as long as Lohan wears low cut numbers she’s going to get her picture taken. And given our freckle fetish, we have a hard time seeing a down side to that. However Lohan, 26, appears to have veered from “career in jeopardy” territory to “career is over” territory – at least as it relates to being an A-list actress.
That’s the bad news … the good news? There’s always her fledgling porn career!

I especially liked the review mentioned on The Today Show this morning… that Gilbert Godfried does a better Liz Taylor than Lindsey Lohan.

Yeah, she’s full-blown nuts, it seems, and that probably translates to a real thrill-ride in the sack, filled with both unbridled joy and unspeakable terror. What more could you want?
Then again who really believed that producers really cared whether Lilo could really pull off the part in the first place (duh??? as if???) save for her usefulness as a 24/7 pr chant machine drawing attention to the media fiasco the way maggots suddenly turn up at the first sight of a rotting carcass….

Don’t disappoint the boys with this weak article. I share these two truths from my private files:
(1) A girl may be ignorant, and she may be shapely, but she is never ignorant of the fact that she is shapely.
(2) Show me a woman who always has her two feet firmly planted on the ground and I’ll show you a woman who has to put her pantyhose on over her head.
I started watching it last night via DVR…..cut it off after about 35 minutes. Awful.
But I bet Lohan would be a fun weekend.
