You have a different memory of the fight at Death Valley than what I do. Late in the 4th quarter after a play was over a Clemson player tried to rough up Syvelle Newton after he threw the football, had him on the ground and proceeded to try and shove his helmet into the ground. At that moment a USC offensive lineman came to his rescue and that’s when a whole bunch of pushing and shoving escalated into an all out brawl. Many will argue that it started before the game at the bottom of the hill. That’s BS. It’s a rivalry and there’s going to be taunting going on before a game. Not to mention that happened over 2 hours prior.

One fan wants to post how many points Florida beat USC by. He must not know much about that game. Turnovers inside the 5 yard line lead to some very easy scores for UF. UF only had 183 yards of total offense so the score was very misleading. The one decent team Clemson has played this year put up almost half a mile in offense. Clemson is good but not as good as they’ve looked against vastly inferior competition

I looked up the official box score on the UF-USCe game. There are no asterisks to indicate that TDs that resulted from TOs are worth less than any other TDs. Is UF to blame for USCe turning the ball over deep in their own territory? Should UF have backed up the ball so they would not be so close to the goal line when they took over?
There is no asterick on Clemson’s score against Maryland either, but perhaps there should be one indicating a linebacker turned QB was able to score on Clemson. EVERYBODY has scored on Clemson, more than once.

Sure he is a good football player who also has demonstrated a good attitude and sportsmanship in the past, but the roster is full of kids like that. USC reunited a military man with his family on field a few weeks ago. We wear those damn ugly unis as part of the Wounded Warrior project. We have a military appreciation game, just as I am sure they do at Clemson.
