DUNCAN, GOWDY, MULVANEY GET SOME LOVE
We view endorsements of political candidates by political organizations at any level as highly suspect … especially when the word “conservative” is thrown around.
Seriously … if every politician who labeled him or herself a “conservative” actually voted that way, our country wouldn’t be teetering on the edge of insolvency (and a double-dip recession).
Recently the reelection bids of U.S. Reps. Jeff Duncan, Trey Gowdy and Mick Mulvaney were endorsed by the political action arm of the National Taxpayers’ Union (NTU). And while we can’t speak to the credibility of that organization, we can attest to the fact that these three lawmakers (particularly Duncan and Mulvaney) deserve whatever pro-taxpayer accolades they receive.
“Americans shouldn’t overlook the incumbents who’ve been tried-and-true allies of taxpayers throughout 2011 and 2012,” the organization stated in issuing its endorsements, adding that Duncan, Gowdy and Mulvaney were part of “an elite pro-taxpayer cadre that will lead our country to a brighter fiscal future.”
Again … we’re not 100 percent sure that Gowdy deserves this sort of recognition (he and U.S. Rep. Tim Scott both flaked out on taxpayers on a couple of key votes), but Duncan and Mulvaney have gone to Washington, D.C. and done exactly what they said they were going to do – exactly what this country needed them to do. And done it consistently.
In fact they’ve done it even when it was politically dangerous for them to do so … exhibiting that rarest form of pro-taxpayer courage.
Props to Dunan and Mulvaney for being among the only elected officials in the country to “walk the walk” on behalf of our country’s fiscal future … and let’s hope that South Carolina voters reward them by sending them back to our nation’s capital for another two years.

If you’re gonna vote the lesser of two evils you might as well go full on and vote for Satan so you don’t seem wishy washy.
Certainly Obama might be less of an evil then Romney in that he’ll probably get the country deeper in debt at a faster pace than Romney and end the ongoing fiscal/economic crisis earlier via default, so from that perspective Frank you might want to reconsider Romney as the most evil-as he’d draw things out a little longer for maximum misery(a la Japan).
Then again, Romney is threatening China and labeling them “currency manipulators”, which though very humorous when coming from the potential leader of a country that prints up substantial dollars to meet it’s budget every year…is none the less a sure fire way to kick off the final assault against te dollar that will drive it into the ground.
So in that regard maybe Romney would end things sooner if he actually meant to do something about his whiney complaining over China peggin their currency to our continually decreasing dollar value.
I don’t know, it’s all so exicting yet confusing…it’ll be interesting to see which demon the possessed herd of swine elect.
United Automobile Workers and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) have filed a formal complaint with the US Office of Government Ethics in Washington stating that Gov. Romney improperly hid a profit of $15.3 million to $115.0 million in Ann Romney’s so-called “blind” trust.
In 2009, Ann Romney partnered with her husband’s key donor, billionaire Paul Singer, who secretly bought a controlling interest in Delphi Auto, the former GM auto parts division. Singer’s hedge fund, Elliott Management, threatened to cut off GM’s supply of steering columns unless GM and the government’s TARP auto bailout fund provided Delphi with huge payments.
While the US treasury complained this was “extortion,” the hedge funds received, ultimately, $12.9 billion in taxpayer subsidies.
As a result, the shares Singer and Ann Romney bought for just 67 cents are today worth over $30, a 4,000% gain. Singer’s hedge fund made a profit of $1.27 billion and the Romney’s tens of millions.
The Singer syndicate, once in control of Delphi, eliminated every single UAW job –25,000– and moved almost all auto parts production to Mexico and China where Delphi now employs 25,000 auto parts workers.
Is that evil enough?

No, I didn’t misunderstand…I’m just saying which one is the most evil isn’t so clear. There’s lot of different ways the scenario plays out.
Of course, if you write in Satan on your ballot you can’t go wrong.
Unfortunately that is one of the many things that the establishment/courts have stolen from us here in SC.
While I agree that they are both two sides of the same coin, I’m convinced that Oshitforbrains would raise taxes more than mittenhead. Therefore it is clear enough for me to call it.
After all, A penny I save is a penny for Odumbass to buy votes with.
