Richie’s a good guy whom I believe stands for what’s right. Saw him at the football game in Chesterfield Friday and he was as good and honest to talk with as anybody would and should be. Wish his competetion was the same including Powell. Just my humble opinion.
Ole teddy also claims to be a proud serving member of the military; but while most guardsman have deployed at least twice, Ted has yet to deploy>>>and dont say he hasnt been called…he could do his part if he wanted.
How did he get out of overseas deployment while rising to the rank of Lt. Col. in the National Guard?
Fits, you seem to have forgotten that there is also a petition candidate in this race, Phil Powell.
Of course Mulvaney and Duncan say that Yow will be “right” on taxes, spending, etc. Yow will be the definition of a rubber stamp for them and the tea party and will vote however they tell him to.
Yow can’t think for himself–just listen to his speeches and read his positions–he simply recycles Tea Party talking points from the national level and spews out ridiculous rants about fighting for religious freedom. Hell, he even called for a revolution in Chesterfield County. All that said, can you see him working across the aisle? HA!
Chesterfield County needs someone to fight for job creation and economic development, not some religious fanatic who is the Tea Party’s puppet. That person is not Richie Yow and obviously not Ted Vick.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but was Powell’s intentions to run on the Democratic ticket not rejected by the S.C. Election Commission because he did not fill out his paperwork right or tried to do it online or something? Powell was going to run as a Democrat and it didn’t work. Why hell, even ole Teddy had his paperwork right, as did Yow. Why would you want to vote for someone that apparently can’t fill out their election paperwork right – same way with the Johnson lady in the council race against Matt Rivers and McKenzie who’s running against Frank Plyler in McBee.
It is sad when people who claim to be christians and saved by grace simply support a democrat, they are the ones who took god out of their platform . but this just shows how sick our country is when someone like ted vick can represent the good folks of chesterfield county, When preachers and brothers use their pulpits to encourage people to vote for certain candidates then i say God will deal with them, i would hate to have the wrath of god after me for wrong doings , using his name to promote ones self simply sick a very sad night for cfld county, another 2 years of nothing oh and thanks phil powell for helping vick win.
I have another question about Teddy. Is he above the law??? Why is he still driving?? READ BELO
W!! This is from the SC Law website.
Refusing a Breathalyzer and Other Rights
The arresting officer is tasked with a list of rights you must be informed of throughout your DUI arrest that spin-off from the implied consent law.
The officer legally must inform you that:
You have the right to refuse a breathalyzer or other test.
Your driver’s license will automatically be suspended for six months, effective immediately, if you refuse to provide breath, blood or urine samples. (The arresting officer must also issue a notice of suspension to you, marking the effective suspension date as the alleged violation date.)
A refusal to take a breathalzyer, etc. may be used against him or her in court.
You can request an administrative hearing within 30 days of your arrest, known as an “implied consent” hearing.
I am very disappointed in the outcome of this election. I had hoped that the citizens of our district would realize that Ted Vick has done ABSOLUTELY nothing for us and someone else needed an opportunity. His questionable actions aside, why would people allow this man to continue to represent their interest??
I can only hope that Mr. Yow sees the positive reaction to him being on the ballot and continue working towards building relationships in our community. I believe that he will be the winner in 2014 if he decides to run again.
Who knows, he may get his chance yet in a special election. Vick is not (shouldn’t be) clear of his legal troubles and could be removed from his house seat.
One could only hope!!
Well, it seems Mr. Vick has not yet, learned to play fair. Mr. Yow is making it known about all the voting irregularities. Seems he has started his own lawsuit against Teddy boy. I for one hope he wins! Let’s run Vick and his buddies out of town once and for all!.
