So this is a Protestant-only blog? I had no idea.
Daisy, that might just be the case. Catholicism is discussed over in the Blogland – my blog.
You can actually be a pretty thoughtful guy, Will. (Between photos of Heidi and Lindsay)
Don’t agree with each and every one, but good stuff.
What about legalization of drugs? The fact that you did not address that leaves alot to be desired.
You’ve posted it, now something or get the hell out of town
Daisy and Earl,
“We got 95 theses but religion ain’t one (hit me) …”

South Carolina’s gay and lesbian citizens thank you for guaranteeing the civil right of lap dancers to lap dance and 18 year old soldiers to drink. We have truly reached the promised land.
Darn right Waldo. The 18 year old soldiers drinking is part of the groundwork we are laying to implement the 1865 Constitution.
I think Will should add a 96th, that states, “all citizens should carry a copy of Chairman/Governor Sanford’s little red book” on their persons at all time.
Are you running a corporation or a democracy? If the latter, then wrong Governor, and probably true with the former too. The current Governor has done a pathetic job with what little he does control. Care to list the great appointments he has made thus far and debate the merits of each appointee?
Virtually 20+ years of a Republican dominated legislature and executive and still we are at the bottom.
Personallly, I am voting Democrat straight ticket the next 2 years.
Luther died a Catholic….I think the analogy would mean that Willie would have to die a trial lawyer Dem Senator working for the SDE?
sic(k) willie’s pipe dreams. From a crack pipe. As he well knows, a few of these initiatives are well under way. The rest are pipe dreams.
We’re sure he’ll will take credit for the work of others when a few of them happen. He’s good at that.
OK WillDude, I’ll protect you….now THIS is BlogoMagnifico stuff. Of course you may have to bypass wood doors and velcro the 95 Biggies to tempered glass. But hey, that’s progress.
How bout a Big 95 Thesis Sign on the Interstate or the side of a building? And for all you guys stirring up some Catholic/Protestant brouhaha, remember the entymology PROTESTant.
(And send your check or money order to me at IndulgencesInc.com) You will receive a custom e-mail pardon of all your South Carolina sins – suitable for framing. For an additional $10, I’ll include and Illustrated Manuscript pdf.
All this to hide that MarkSanford is unable to lead?
he hates government, what the hell did you think would happen?
What the hell are you doing?!? Will, I can’t believe this shit.
Do you have any idea how long it will take to rename every overpass, interchange, sidewalk and boat landing?
This, ladies and gentlemen, is what distinguishes this website from the other random musings trying to pass for SC political commentary. Yes, you can (and I am sure BIN will) say what you want to about his personal habits, his past histories, and his penchant for wearing hats indoors, but the ad hominem attacks aside, Will has done some great work here. Will has just spent more mental energy on SC policy than about 4/5ths of the sitting members of our general assembly.
And, yes BIN, there is discussion on some of these right now. As there was just prior to the Reformation (or any other revolutionary movement, for that matter.) That isn’t the point. The point is articulating the issues in a fashion that is straightforward and honest fashion always plays an important role.
One early substantive criticism: a lot of the proposals begin with the preface “there is hereby created _____ agency.” There’s a whole lot of new, bigger government here, it seems. Getting rid of the CHE, the SBE and the BCB are all moves in the right direction, but I am struggling with replacing them with “new and improved” bureaucracies.
Wil, one more question – my girlfriend named my special body part after Hugh Leatherman. Does what you propose require that my pecker’s nickname get changed?
Screw it, I’ll vote for it. We couldn’t have a more back-asswards system then we have now. The second branch of our state government is nothing but a leafless twig. Some much for checks and balances, our the legislature just writes checks.
Damn FITS, you’re actually smart after all. And that egg-tooth shit cracks me up every time.
Not sayin, Just Sayin,
All this info can be found from the past 6 years of the failed Sanford initiatives, alhough some are good ideas, these are not Sic Willies. And once Sanford learns that you attract more flies with honey than vinegar, the quicker these things may at least get serious debate
Sanford will never learn that. He’s too principled (or clueless) for his own good, which is obvious to anyone who remembers his equally quioxtic tenture in Congress. Anyway, I wasn’t suggesting FITS is setting forth these ideas as his own, but I am impressed that he’s on board with them because I think many are quite good. But, sadly, even if Sanford knew how to govern I think many of these reforms make too much sense to ever materialize in my beloved Palmetto State.
Anywho, that Egg Tooth shit is hilarious.
